Biography

Julia has been with The Miracle Project since the Fall of 2017 overseeing community engagement, communications and development. Prior to joining The Miracle Project, she served as the Director of Community Engagement at Tribe Media/Jewish Journal. Julia has worked in a number of roles throughout the nonprofit sector including as a nonprofit consultant at NPO Solutions; manager of partnerships and innovation and later the assistant director of NuRoots at The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles; and engagement associate at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism in Washington, D.C.. Previously, she worked in journalism for outlets such as Kaiser Health News, CBS News and NPR. She has a masters of science in social entrepreneurship from USC’s Marshall School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in political communications from The George Washington University.
