L.A. Times: The team behind ‘Atypical’ reveals what you might have missed about Season 4

The fourth and final season of Netflix’s Atypical is now available for streaming. In July 2021 members of the creative team and cast got together for a virtual roundtable to discuss “Atypical’s” legacy with the Los Angeles Times. They discuss the show’s positive representation of the autism and disability communities in providing opportunities for those on the spectrum in front of and behind the camera. The virtual roundtable included The Miracle Project’s Founder and Executive Artistic Director Elaine Hall, who worked as a consultant on the show, and Domonique Brown, a TMP participant who played Jasper on the show. The roundtable also featured creator, showrunner and executive producer Robia Rashid; executive producer Mary Rohlich; Gilchrist; Brigette Lundy-Paine, who plays Sam’s tough younger sister, Casey Gardner; and Tal Anderson.
