Autism: Subject of School Skyping March 28, 2012 0 0 News MATTOON — While students in one district were dismissed early, teachers stayed behind to do some learning of their own. We’re keeping you Connected to the Classroom. The Mattoon School District held a Skype in-service for teachers. The topic? Autism in schools. Author Elaine Hall made a presentation from Los Angeles. This is the first time the district has used Skype for training. People who attended say they’re grateful for the opportunity. More than 200-people shows up for the training. It was open to all teachers in the district, as well as community agencies.
