The Miracle Project and the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts
The Miracle Project is proud to announce our partnership with the prestigious Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
We will begin with two new programs:
THE INTIMIDATION GAME
January 19 – May 17, 2016
Created by The Miracle Project Staff and Teens and Young Adults with and without disabilities
Music written by Zach Marsh
Creative Director, Elaine Hall
In Collaboration with The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts
The Miracle Project will have a new Beverly Hills location with a production of The Intimidation Game, an anti-bullying original musical, a collaboration between The Miracle Project and the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and partially funded by a generous grant from the Mandell L. and Madeleine H. Berman Foundation. The Intimidation Game, inspired by actual experiences of teens and young adults with autism of The Miracle Project, is a fully inclusive production for teens and young adults with and without disabilities. The course will workshop, stage, rehearse, and perform an original anti-bullying musical to be performed with professional actors at the Lovelace Studio Theater at The Wallis in May 2016.
January 19 – May 17, 2016
The Miracle Project Performance Troupe
Music written by Zach Marsh
Creative Director, Elaine Hall
In Collaboration with The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts
The Miracle Project (TMP) Live! is a unique performance troupe comprised of individuals with and without disabilities creating and rehearsing original songs to perform at venues and events around Los Angeles (performances like CBS’ Stephanie’s Day and the Special Olympics). Ten students will be selected to participate in the program. Performances will be staged, choreographed, and rehearsed. A parent group will assist with performances. Students will learn audition skills and vocal techniques so they can be competitive within the theatre community.
